When I was in my early twenties I was into carp fishing and that's when my interest in photography began. Setting up the camera on a tripod with a long cable release under my knee and manual focus was the method back then.
Owning a Canon T70 and a 50mm lens with a roll of Fujifilm Velvia slide film I set upon my photography journey.

Moving on 30 years technology has moved on leaps and bounds, and now with SLRs and mirrorless cameras the choices are endless.
I'd like to say I know quite a bit about modern cameras and how they work, I have owned and used most brands of cameras over this time.
I have had pictures printed In several magazines, Including shooting non league football for a local newspaper.
The camera I use now is the Nikon Z9 with the Nikon Z 800mm F6.3 for wildlife and the Nikon Z 24-120mm F4 for landscapes and the Nikon Z 105mm F2.8 for macro.
